VeGA, the autonomous car Made in Turin, inaugurates the 2019 Auto Show
Turin, June 19th 2019. Today the Motor Show will start and the ribbon cutting ceremony will do with the VeGA self-driving car with the most important Authority at national and local level.
VeGA project is the result of over 3 years of development and internal investments by Bylogix SRL, an innovative SME born in 2007, that offers services in the Automotive, Railway and Industrial sectors and operates in different international markets (Europe, US, China, Russia and India). In few years, Bylogix has established itself in the design and development of solutions and systems for hybrid and electric mobility, in the development of electrical and electronic architectures for new-concept vehicles and innovative electronic components.
VeGA (Autonomous Driving Vehicle) is an autonomous Level 3 (L3) vehicle that use of Nvidia Drive® technology, high-performance cameras and position sensors which, thanks to software algorithms and artificial intelligence, recognize objects, define their distance and indicate the right direction to avoid them by following a path define by the user.
The autonomous driving system was born from the vision and experience of Ing. Francesco Ricciardi, CEO of Bylogix, which seen in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision technologies the new frontier on the automotive sector. In 2016 the project was launched thanks to public grant from the Piedmont Region (ROP Piemonte ERDF 2014-2020) through the support of the ICT Innovation Pole manage by Torino Wireless Foundation.
Bylogix, regard autonomous driving, is working on several projects with the aim to integrate additional features to the autonomous driving system such as the vocal assistant and 5G communication.
Bylogix is also part of the Smart Road Committee of the City of Turin, in charge to define autonomous driving experiments areas in according with Municipality Plan.

Bylogix at Motor Valley Fest in Modena
Within the Motor Valley Fest event that will be held in Emilia Romagna from 13 to 19 May 2019, Bylogix will be pleased to present and make available to the most curious, a self-driving vehicle with the latest technology in the industry.
The project, called VeGA (Veicolo a Guida Autonoma), is the result of two years of development. With the ORT (Object Recognition Technology) the car, thanks to sensors and high-speed cameras distributed all around the vehicle, can recognize approaching objects (such as vehicles, bicycles, pedestrians or animals), identify them and send actuation signals for vehicle management.
All those functionalities are possible thanks to AI (Artificial Intelligence) software implemented on Nvidia Drive ® Platform combine neural networks technologies solution and real time drive capabilities.

Bylogix presents VeGA at VTM 27th and 28th November 2018 - Turin
VTM (Vehicle Transportation and Innovation Meetings - 27/28 November 2018) is a new mobility technology event bringing together the vehicle and transport community: from vehicle manufacturers and tier suppliers to mobility decision makers, technology entrepreneurs disruptive and solution providers.
Bylogix will be present as exhibitor and will present the VeGA project (Veicolo a Guida Autonoma) innovative project on autonomous driving.
The prototype, which will be exhibited inside the Innovation Plaza, is an electric car equipped with solutions for object recognition, sensors and high-speed cameras distributed all around the vehicle, and is able to detect vehicles, bicycles, pedestrians or animals, identify them and send actuation signals for vehicle management (breaking, steering and acceleration).
All those functionalities are possible thanks to AI (Artificial Intelligence) software implemented on Nvidia Platform®, combine neural networks technologies solution and real time drive capabilities.
